Ropework for Kids DVD Video
In this video, five time world champion, Rene Bibaud, uses her extensive experience
including international tours with Cirque Du Soleil to teach beginner students everything
they need to start performing the basics, in a fun and rewarding way. More experienced
"jumpers" will be excited to see that Rene shares many of her performance
techniques and great supplemental moves like rope throws, dance inspired rope
manipulations, turns, moves across the floor and much more. Rene instructs with five
students in "ROPEWORK for KIDS" to illustrate basic intermediate and advanced
single rope skills and breaks them down in an easy to learn format. We show kids routines
to practice and help you learn how to create your own, by sharing the elements of a
competitive freestyle routine. Basic instruction is given for partner and group routines,
and we make double dutch easy to learn. With inspiring highlights and great music, we show
you just how far this former playground pastime has come. This video is very appropriate
